After the invention of invaluable treasuresin the vaults the Hon. Supreme Court of Indiahad given direction to Government
of Keralato provide tight security to Sree Padmanabha Swamy Templeand its treasures. SubsequentlyKeralaPolice
Telecommunication is start working under the control of Dy. Commissioner of Police, Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple Security
Wing for the Radio communication and other technical related jobs.
Many most modern security systems comprises of electrical, electronic and mechanical devices are installed at Sree Padmanabha
Swamy Temple to provide tight security to the Temple and its invaluable treasures in the vaults. Considering the importance of high
security to the Temple, this wing is established and providing a separate uninterrupted UHF Communication round the clock in and
around the Temple. All these highly sophisticated security systems and devices installed/deployed inside the temple and its premises
are maintained by technically experienced/trained Police Telecommunication Staff.
The Police Telecommunication Staff deployed at SPSTS are handling, supervising, monitoring the operations and maintenance
of CCTV System, Bollards, Road Blockers, Speed Folding Doors, Baggage Scanners, and BDDS related equipments etc.., which is included
in the phase two projects of the Integrated Security System.
