   Police Telecommunication Sub Unit headed by Inspector of Police, Telecommunication. About 30 numbers of Police officials in the rank of Sub Inspectors, Assistant Sub Inspectors, Head Constables and Police Constables from Kerala Police Telecommunication is working in this unit for the upkeep and maintenance of communication equipments and channels for Police department (VHF control& CoB Node). Undertaken the repair and maintenance of communication and day to day maintenance of communication equipments and Computers in the District, a District Computer Maintenance Unit (DCMU) is functioning within the Telecommunication Unit. A Video conference arrangement is also managed by this unit at the DPC office. Separate GD, Wireless log & CoB logs and computer maintenance register also are manually maintained.

The Police Telecommunication subunit Kasargode is entrusted with the Total police communication and day to day maintenance of communication equipments. The DCMU (District Computer Maintenance Unit) under this unit is handling all the maintenance and repair of Police department computers and accessories in the entire district.
District communication is maintained in VHF Low Band Channel and the District Repeater station is situated at Mavungal.  A Trunk line Network Repeater station for entire state communication is also functioning at this Station. Two VHF H/B sub divisional level Town communication networks viz. Kasaragod and Kanjhangad are also established in this district. Control room in Kasargode Town is also provided.
