  Police Telecommunication Sub Unit Kochi City is located at AR camp Complex, Marine Drive, Kochi City, is headed by Inspector of Police, Telecommunication. About 50 numbers of Police officials in the rank of Sub Inspectors, Assistant Sub Inspectors, Head Constables and Police Constables are carrying out the operations of VHF Low Band Trunk Line Communication, CoB Network Intranet Computer Network system, Cipher coding decoding, Video Conference arrangements and HF System, maintenance of Wireless Equipments, District Computer Maintenance–DCMU etc. The care and maintenance of iAPS Network, upcoming CCTNS and the Passport Cell Network of CPO and Police Stations are also being carried out by the DCMU.  The voice logger equipment installed in City sub Unit helps many vital incidents for analyzing breaches of communication, unnecessary communications etc. and recording the real time communication of the Telephone line in the Control Room, L&O communication & Traffic communication
Similarly High Court at Eranakulam are also equipped with VHF Trunk line communication and CoB Intranet Computer Network system.
